Adaption to writing
#Need for Adaption
(1). Visualizing the reader
-To know early about reader’s attitude, mental frame, education l level etc.
(2). Techniques of adapting
-writing according to level of people writer must know communication channel or media and corporate culture of the firm.
(3). Adapting to multiple readers
- For different level of people write down in the lowest level to minimize the problem.
(4). Governing role of adaption
-follow the simplicity
-follow the guideline of good writing techniques.
# Suggestions for selecting words:
1. Use familiar word
2. Use technical word with caution
3. Choose short word
4. Select words with the right strength
-Use rich words/ up to date words.
5. Use active voice
6. Avoid ambiguous (not clear>regularly) words
7. Use concrete language
- Use of simple sentence.
# Suggestions for using non-discriminatory words / sentences.
1. Gender neutral words:
-Avoid using masculine pronouns. ( he, his, him)
If any customer pay’s bill promptly, he will be given discount.
-Avoid words derived from masculine words

-Avoid words that lower status by gender.
Female Lawyer Lawyer
2. Avoid words which stereotype by race, nationality
-don’t hurt the minority.
3. Avoid words that heart disable person
-Need not use special / other words specially for disabled person.
